These links will help you find DeMarini CF bats from our trusted retail partners.

There is not going to be a 2024 DeMarini CF which we think is a terrible mistake by DeMarini. They are putting all their eggs in the two-piece composite basket of the ZOA and that's too bad. The CF has been one of the most iconic bats of the USSSA era and it's no doubt they are reeling from moving away from it as bats like the Hype and CAT X Composite have never given room for the ZOA to shine. In any case, don't expect a 2024 DeMarini CF. Maybe they'll resurrect some later years.

Models Overview

If you like a two-piece composite bat with a big barrel, light swing, and a great feel on hits and mishits, then the DeMarini CF is the bat for you. It competes well in USSSA and USA against anything else. The BBCOR version isn't as exciting, although it hits the ball as hard, even if you don't feel it because it has a flexible connection. If you have a swing speed and see exit velocities in the mid-60s to mid-80s, then you won't find a bat that performs better than it. Of course, you'll have to look for CF in the 2023 and before as there is not one for the 2024 season.

Performance Comparison

Here are many of the last CFs over the years.

Comparable Bats

There are several two piece composite bats with a light swing. Check bats like the Marucci CAT X Composite, Easton's Hype and Rawlings Icon for similar feels.

Expert Recommendations

Generally, we recommend the USSSA version for any severe hitter. The Drop 10, 8, and 5 are fantastic and compete with anything. Although not cheap, it's a mainstay in the bags of the most serious USSSA players. That goes for the USA bat as well. There are generally not as many drops in USA (we'll see for 2024), but the bat does well compared to other drop 10 two-piece composites. BBCOR-wise, if you have lower swing speeds and are just trying to catch up to balls then the CF is a great choice. Bigger hitters tend to two-piece hybrids or single-piece bats (aka, not the DeMarini CF)
