DeMarini has dominated the game in recent years, the Voodoo One and the Goods have done ridiculously well. Although they've lost their step a bit in USSSA as bats like the Hype have overtook the CF in part, we think, because they lost focus on the ZOA.

Why We Love the 2022 DeMarini The Goods

WE DO NOT recommend buying it in the secondary market for a jacked-up price. We've spent some time with the new 2022 DeMarini The Goods in BBCOR. The bat is, as expected, fantastic. We like the 2022 version of the bat as much as the 2021 (which was a lot). And we should. The bat is all but the same. They did change the endcap up a bit to be a bit more durable. But it still hits nukes. It is a bit heavier and probably inappropriate for the 14 or 15-year-old still getting accustomed to the game's speed and drop 3. But, the 16 through 18+ year old that can hit well will like the 2022 DeMarini The Goods. Note, the bat is short from it's stated length. So, a 33, for example, is a 32 1/8" to the end of the barrel. But, since it's endloaded, you don't need to size down to compensate.

Why We Love the 2023 DeMarini CF Mashup

There are no differences between the 2022 version of the DeMarini CF and the 2023/2 version of the CF Mashup. These are updated graphics on the same bat that have not changed for a couple of years. The drop 10 version is the big barrel, light swing, and fantastic feel on a somewhat durable bat that is legendary in the USSSA space. In most public minds, the only real competitor is the USSSA CAT 9 Composite or Meta in a drop 10.

Why We Love the 2017 DeMarini CF Zen

This 2017 DeMarini CF in a drop 5 may go down as the greatest USSSA bat of all time. If you remember, the Drop 10 version of this bat was made illegal. So, DeMarini ended up releasing a 'retooled' version of that. But, in the drop 5, inexplicably, the bat was not made illegal. So, the bat is legendary and any team who plays in serious tournaments with kids who are trying to hit the ball really really far have this bat in their bag. They end up paying a ridiculous amount for it, too.

The Two-Piece Hybrid Baseball Bat, featuring a 2 5/8 inch barrel diameter has a mid loaded swing. This bat combines an alloy barrel with a composite handle and carries the USA Bat Certification Stamp and is approved for play. With an X14 Alloy Barrel, Paraflex Plus Composite Handle and Type V Connection (all the exact same for this year when compared to 2022). The bat is good for a hybrid. USA offers a pretty boring set of bats, but The Goods in USA can be a top choice for the right kid.
