Boombah Bags: Style and Functionality

Quick Take

The customization kings of bat bags. 8-bat capacity, vented shoe compartments, 1000+ design combos. Built tough enough to survive tournament seasons. Best value in team gear.

If you’ve ever met someone who owns a Boombah bat bag, you know these bags are absolutely loved. We tried out three different versions, got player feedback, and found it hard to fault Boombah’s designs. These bags come highly recommended.

We only discovered Boombah recently when we reviewed their bats. We noticed a few kids in our league using their bags, picked up a couple ourselves, and soon found ourselves coveting these bags. If Easton’s motto is “a bat for every player,” then Boombah’s could be “a bat bag for every player.”

Boombah has the largest selection of baseball and softball gear and bat bags on the market. They have small bags, big bags, wheeled bags, carry bags, airplane bags, catcher’s bags, bags for both softball and baseball, and a wide range of colors and designs. By some counts, including color combinations, there are well over 200 different types of bat bags. Yes, 200!

Boombah bags are also well thought-out. Higher-end models have vented shoe compartments, velcro logos for batting glove storage, external pockets for water bottles and valuables, adjustable internal compartments, and even small bags often hold four bats. Let’s highlight a few specific models.

Rolling Superpack Camo Overview

The Rolling Super Pack Camo is one of 19 listed on Boombah’s site. It’s a large roller bag built more square than long. This bag comes in 17 different color combinations.

We consider the Rolling Superpack our favorite from Boombah’s lineup, and that’s saying a lot. Features include:

  • Room for 4 bats
  • Two external water bottle holders
  • Velcro strapping on the logo for batting gloves
  • Quick-access compartments for keys, wallets, phones, etc.
  • Vented shoe compartment
  • Adjustable top compartment

The digi camo look is on-trend, and at under $80, it’s tough to go wrong.

The only minor complaint we’ve seen online (not something we experienced) is the softer underside may wear down if dragged on rough surfaces. Just keep an eye on how your player rolls it.

While it’s hard to label any one bag as “best,” this Rolling Superpack is near the top. If we were buying for our own players, this would be it.

There’s a non-rolling, non-camo version called the Superpack Bat Pack. It shares many features with the rolling version, except it’s carried like a backpack instead of rolled.

It’s the same size as the rolling model and includes a vented shoe compartment, a detachable pocket, and a Boombah logo for glove storage between innings. It has heavy-duty zippers, four bat slots, and reinforced J-hooks for fence hanging. Dimensions: 23.5″ H x 13.5″ W x 9.5″ D.

Beast Bag Overview

The Beast Bag is Boombah’s largest offering. It’s a soft-cased roller bag with a hard bottom, measuring 40″ L x 14″ W x 13″ H. It can hold a huge amount of gear—Boombah says up to 8 bats, and we think you could cram even more if you wanted.

It features a detachable flap for customization, well-built wheels, and a separate top compartment for quick-access items. It also includes a ventilated shoe compartment, heavy-duty zippers, and soft-lined pockets for valuables. The Beast Bag truly lives up to its name.

Overall Boombah Bag Impressions

Bags don’t usually excite us as much as bats do, but Boombah’s selection, quality, and pricing are impressive. Their bags balance form and function beautifully. Because Boombah sells direct to consumers, you can pick these bags up directly from their website.
