Plate Crate: Monthly Baseball Essentials Delivered

Quick Take

Plate Crate offers a subscription box filled with unique and practical baseball gear, from Vulcan grips to Glove Savers. Each month brings new surprises, making it an exciting and valuable option for players seeking tools and treats to enhance their game.

We took a spin with Plate Crate, a subscription-based monthly box of baseball goodies. For under $30 a month, you receive over $30 worth of value delivered right to your front door. Each crate includes useful baseball tools and fun knickknacks you likely didn’t know existed but will be happy to have. Every month’s crate is different, so you can expect something new each time.

Plate Crate Experience

Each month, you’ll get a set of gear. We’re not sure if every subscriber gets the same items or if it’s random, but we suspect Plate Crate sources items in bulk. In our crate, we received several items:

Glove Lock Review

Glove Locks help keep your thumb-side glove lace snug. If you’ve worn a glove for any length of time, you know that lace can be tough to keep tied. Glove Locks solve that problem neatly.

Vulcan Grip Review

We received a Vulcan bat grip in our crate. We haven’t used Vulcan grips extensively, but at first glance, they seem high-quality and on par with other known grip brands. The Americana theme we got was a nice touch.

Chinook Seedery Review

Our crate included Chinook Seedery’s Cinnamon Toast sunflower seeds. While not our personal favorite flavor, Chinook’s seeds are top-notch. Cinnamon Toast is unique and worth trying at least once.

Glove Saver Review

The Glove Saver helps maintain your glove’s shape in your bag. It’s one of those items you don’t realize you need until you have it. A perfect gift or stocking stuffer for a baseball or softball player.
