The 2022 Stinger Missile 2 is a single-piece alloy bat with a big barrel and a heavier swing. We really only like this bat for advanced hitters who can find the barrel often and those who like a stiff feel on a bat with more load.

This bat got a lot of press during its heyday but has fallen off the map over the last few months. We think most media was unjustified, and the bat didn't blow away any of our hitters. It felt heavier than the bats it competed against, and most players didn't like how it felt on mishits. That said, we think bigger hitters with big-time swing speed could find the bat useful as it does pack a punch.

Heavier swinging single-piece alloy bats are standard as they are the cheapest to make. So, you'll find many smaller companies trying to break into the market with bats like these. Look for a bat like Tucci's single piece, an older Old Hickory, or a Rude American.
