Surprisingly, unlike the other drops of the 2021 LXT, the drop 11 swung heavier than other drop 11 fastpitch bats for 2021. It is a good 15% heavier swinging than a bat like the CF and, oddly enough, not very much lighter than the drop 10 as we measured. Both are within 2% of each other.

The drop 11 doesn't make a ton of sense---as hitters who need a light swing tend to want a bat that doesn't have a lot of feedback. Nonetheless, if you want a stiff feeling bat and you're in the drop 11 space then the XENO is your best fastpitch bat.

The 2021 DeMarini Prism in a drop 11 is about as good as it gets in this drop. To be sure, some don't like it but those people are usually the ones who should have bought a drop 10 or 9. But, those who need/want a super light swing, a lot of flex on hits and mishits (meaning your hands won't hurt) with a great top-end performing barrel are looking in the right spot with the 2021 Demarini Prism Drop 11.

If you think the 2022 Easton Ghost Advanced was produced to move the price point to $500 from the previous versions of $450 then you'd only partly be right. Indeed, despite the price jump, the bat's composite material in the barrel has been 'upgraded.' That's likely welcome relief to those who know that the previous version of the bat worked on borrowed time after about 500 hits. So, you get that same crushing sound, bomb-dropping power with a bat that lasts, we hope, a bit longer. I mean, who wouldn't pay $50 more?

Comprehensive bat analysis in our 1,800 sq ft testing facility
Exit Velocity Testing
We measure exit speeds across multiple hitter profiles using industry-standard radar equipment. Each bat is tested with consistent swing mechanics to ensure accurate, comparable data across our entire database.
Swing Weight Analysis
Using professional-grade MOI (Moment of Inertia) measurement equipment, we precisely calculate each bat's swing weight. This data directly influences our control and swing feel ratings.
Ball Cannon Testing
Our precision ball cannon measures coefficient of restitution (bounce) and sweet spot performance. This controlled testing eliminates human variables and provides consistent impact data.
Data Tracking
Every measurement is logged in our comprehensive database, allowing us to track performance trends, compare models across years, and identify the best-performing bats in each category.
Multi-Hitter Analysis
We test each bat with multiple hitter types - from contact hitters to power swingers - ensuring our recommendations work for different player profiles and swing styles.
