The 2024 Atlas is a reprint of the 2023 version of the bat but with upgraded graphics and a $50 price increase. It's a single-piece alloy bat with a lighter swing and a smaller barrel profile. It hits the ball hard, especially for bigger hitters with top-end exit speed. As of now, the bat is only in a BBCOR. With the unexpected popularity of the atlas-omaha-bbcor/">2023 Atlas, this 2024 version was likely unplanned by Slugger until they ran out of stock everywhere so we don't expect to see a 2024 USSSA or USA version, but we've been surprised before.
Models Overview
Generally, smaller to average-sized hitters who want plate coverage and a good feel will not prefer this bat to one like Slugger's Meta while bigger hitters with top-end swing speed that can hit it hard should like it, especially if they like a lot of feedback and can barrel it up.
Construction & Technology
The 2024 Louisville Slugger Atlas is a single-piece alloy bat with a smaller barrel profile but top-end performance.
Performance Comparison
There are no differences between the 2023 and the 2024 Louisville Slugger Atlas. Of course, that doesn't count the $50 increase or the new paint job.
Comparable Bats
If you want a similar bat to the 2024 Louisville Slugger Atlas, look at a bat like Marucci's CAT X or DeMarini's Voodoo One. Both are single-piece alloys with a light swing and a big barrel. If you're okay with a different handle, check out a bat like the Warstic Bonesaber.
