This check cannot inspect or clear it for play. A cracked, severely dented, or broken bat can fail further. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
Why you got this result
Have these ready
- Original sales receipt from an authorized Rawlings dealer
- Clear photos of the damage, model markings, and the complete bat
- A U.S. street address for a U.S.-purchase claim
- Keep the bat until Rawlings tells you whether it needs inspection
Rawlings alone decides whether to repair, replace, issue a voucher, or decline the claim after reviewing the bat and documents. Bat Digest is not affiliated with Rawlings.

What can make a claim easier to review
Three Rawlings rules to check first
Rawlings requires the original sales receipt and says incomplete claims will not be reviewed.
One repair or replacement is available during the term; a repair does not use the one available replacement.
Issues the policy calls out
- Defects in materials or workmanship in aluminum or composite bats
- A one-time repair or replacement within one year
- A repaired bat does not use the one available replacement
Details to check before filing
- Used, as-is, demo, promotional, transferred, or individually resold bats
- No original receipt or a non-authorized seller
- Cosmetic wear, grip issues, or weight/size-only complaints
- Cage balls, temperatures below 60°F, weighted balls, team use, alteration, or third-party repair
Not sure it is really cracked?
Check the damage before you describe it
Compare a paint mark with the visible signs of a structural crack, then come back to the checker.
Questions people ask
Rawlings bat warranty FAQ
How long is the Rawlings bat warranty?
The current policy lists one year for Rawlings aluminum and composite bats, measured from the purchase date.
Does Rawlings cover a cracked bat?
Rawlings covers defects in materials or workmanship rather than promising coverage for every crack. A structural crack is a sensible reason to file when the other requirements are met, but Rawlings makes the final decision.
Does Rawlings cover bats used in a batting cage?
The current policy specifically excludes bats used to hit cage balls and also excludes team or commercial-loaner use.
Can I file without the original receipt?
The current terms require the original sales receipt. An incomplete claim without the required documentation will not be reviewed.
